Why I love these photos:

• The laughter. Oh god the laughter.
• The energy level is just ridiculous.
• It’s not a particularly hot take, but the outfits are out of this world. It’s the first time I’ve really internalized that sequins have a place in this world.
• That gigantic tree they got married in front of is gnarly and beautiful. I want it.
• Sometimes photography is hard. Mostly when it’s up to me to make things interesting and pretty. This was the opposite of that. All I had to do was point and shoot. It made my life so, so easy.
• Katie and Vic were stoked to be marrying each other, and that energy (I think) comes through in the photos.
